It is known that the representatives of the Company, Kellogg Brown Root, Steven LeMelle and Timothy Trujillo have visited a lot of interesting places here in Kartaly such as museum, newspaper office and orphanage. A visit to school # 34 was very interesting for school children and their teachers. They had chance to communicate with Steve and Tim for more than 2 hours. The teacher of history Kirichenko L. invited everybody to her class. The topic of discussion was “The history of relations between Russia and USA”. But as it often happens the discussion came out far from the main topic. Besides the historical facts the children were interested in problems of drug abuse and rate of crimes in the USA. The pupils were also curious about teenagers’ employment. They asked a lot of questions about teenagers’ spare time. Tim and Steve knew the answers to all these questions because their daughters are the same age like the kids at the classroom. They said that there are many youth employment programs in the States.

It should be mentioned that the atmosphere in the classroom was cordial. At the end of the meeting the teacher thanked the guests for their time and attention they gave to the children.
